Because when it looks like you’re ready to jump ship, they’re afraid of their paycheck going down.

They don’t understand that you can have a Network Marketing + your own personal brand outside of the Network Marketing Profession.

Believe it or not, some company’s will not allow you to create a personal brand that incorporates the Network Marketing products.

But, if you’re lucky and your Network Marketing allows it, this blog is going to teach you how to set yourself apart from all the other Network Marketers causing your prospects to stop in their tracks and listen to you.

Too many people are involved with a Network Marketing company and they’re all doing the same thing as everyone else.

People get used to that and they tune it out.

They become numb to it and there isn’t a way to get them to listen if you’re just repeating what everyone else is doing.

If you are:

  • Using the graphics your company provides you to promote products, STOP.
  • Advertising yourself as “John Smith – Independent Whatever Distributor,” STOP.
  • Plastering your Network Marketing Company’s graphics all over your social media, STOP.
  • Sending/Posting your Network Marketing Unsolicited website link, STOP.

This is not the way you brand yourself.

If you’re doing the above, you’re branding yourself as your company and that’s where people become numb and be resistant by building a wall.

1. Remove References to your Network Marketing Company

Okay, blasting your social media with your Network Marketing company (images/logos/banners) will cause your potential customer to become resistant to join you.

There’s no need for it and odds are they’ve probably already seen some other random distributor advertising with the same graphics.

Or they will Google the name of the company and they start paying more attention to the “Scam articles” rather than asking you “What do you do?”

So, what do you replace all of this with?

  1. Profile Picture: Picture of YOU
  2. Cover Image: an image that explains what you do or creates curiosity in what you do. Example: I help people to save money on their travels and allow them to increase their financial portfolio.
  3. Get rid of “XYZ Company Independent Distributor” in your name or bio.
2. Start Creating Your Own Graphics

Here’s an example of someone who just took a graphic that was created by their Network Marketing company, slapped on some “yay we’re getting ready to do this, you should join me!” advertising text and hoped for the best.

This strategy doesn’t work well because the image that they used is over-used.

Everyone is using it.

It’s everywhere.  What happens when people see the same thing over and over?

As you can see, the post only received two likes…. Who are probably her mom and sister ?  and the 1 share on the post?

Yeah, that was just her sharing it to her own personal timeline.

You’ve stripped your online presence of only being a “distributor,” but now it’s time to figure out what you’re going to tell people when they ask what your business is about.

Instead of saying “I’m an Independent Team Beachbody Coach,” you could call yourself a “Health & Fitness Strategist” or a “Fitness Consultant.”

The key here is to figure out what is that “higher level” business that your Network Marketing could fit under.

Odds are if you’re involved with Team Beachbody, you will find an interest in Health, Fitness, or Nutrition.

Another example is if you’re involved with Young Living Essential Oils, you’re going to be interested in Nutrition, Health, and Organic lifestyles.
