Congratulations… Rovia Wins the Magellan Travel Awards 2011 after beating their tough competitors around.

The Magellan Awards honor the best in the travel industry and salute the outstanding travel professionals behind it. They are judged and overseen by a panel of one-of-a-kind travel professionals representing the best and most accomplished leaders in the industry. The awards’ main categories are hotels and resorts, travel destinations, cruise lines, online travel services, airlines and airports, travel agents and agencies, tour operators, and car rentals. Within each of these are sub-categories, for instance design, travel guides/ratings and reviews, etc. The entries are evaluated on a 10-point performance scale. The highest scoring entries are selected as Gold Magellan Awards Winners, the highest honor!

For two consecutive years, Rovia has been honored by Travel Weekly! Last year, Rovia was the recipient of two Silver Awards in “Travel Agency Services–Community Support and Advertising/Marketing Campaign” categories. This year, Rovia took home the Gold Award in “Online Travel Services–Best Travel Guides/Ratings/Reviews” category for DreamTrips Way of Life. Arnie Weissmann, Editor-in-Chief of Travel Weekly states his feelings, “This year’s Magellan Award winners have once again impressed the judges with their creativity and sense of style…the recipients of [this award] truly represent the BEST [in] the industry, and their accomplishments are inspiring.” (3).
